GitHub User Languages Extension - Determine the Languages of Users and Org
GitHub is the #1 platform for code collaboration, development, and code sharing. GitHub has more than 10M users who use the platform to host over 18M projects. With its millions of users, you're guaranteed to find what you need and connect with like-minded individuals.
GitHub User Languages provides a simple way to learn more about the communities that make the platform so powerful. With this new extension, you can quickly see the breakdown of the languages used in the public repositories owned by the User or Organisation you follow.
This extension works by displaying the Language Pie Chart that is rendered by the GitHub User Languages API. This chart shows a breakdown of the languages used in the public repositories owned by the User or Organisation. It also uses GitHub's official language colours for each language.
For each User, it displays their language usage across all of their public repositories. For Orgs, it displays their language usage in each of the repositories they own. You can easily identify each segment by the user or organisation name in each language and click on any segment to view the repositories for that language in the sidebar.
This new User Language Chart allows you to easily see what languages are most used in your favourite Users or Orgs. And by using the colour picker on your device, you can quickly change the colours for each segment to reflect your personal preference.
This extension is 100% free to download, use, and host on your own GitHub profile page. It is open-source and available to use under the terms of the MIT license.
